Head of the Charles Regatta 2024
We have lofty goals for our Survivor Rowers. Many are recreational rowers, while others want to compete. SRN works to provide competitive opportunities for those who want to race.
On Saturday October 19, 2024 we made history at the world's largest, most prestigious and most grueling regatta, considered the Super Bowl of Rowing - the Head of the Charles in Boston - with 99 survivors competing in the inaugural HOCR Survivor Row. 10s of thousands of spectators lined the river cheering on the 11 boats from the U.S., France and Italy. Many news outlets have featured them on their local news (see the Media page).
This event made the spotlight shine even brighter on Survivor Rowing.
If you were at the Head of the Charles and stopped by our Survivor Rowing Network tent, thank you for your interest and support! We are delighted that you came by. And thank you to all who attended the meet and greet at the JL Racing tent on Saturday.
A million thanks from all of us at SRN to the 2024 Head of the Charles 2024 organizers & staff and to JL Racing for supporting Survivor Rowing!
